Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira win over Hatsu Hioki at UFC Fight Night 43 was so sensational that it looked like it was sent from above and it might just had been.
Hioki, who was never finished, got submitted for the first time in his MMA 37-fight-career and it was an amazing submission by Oliveira. He got what seemed to be a peruvian choke.
After the great win, Do Bronx ran to the camera and said: “Not today. This one is for you Titino”. In fact, he was dedicating his win to Titino, a young kid who was a jiu-jitsu trainer at his Social Project in his hometown, Guarujá. The boy passed away last may due to a terminal cancer.
On his interview after fight he dedicated the victory to his beloved friend again, unfortunately they didn’t translate that.
